Minor Lacrosse:
38 teams, including two from host Prince George, are competing at the BC Lacrosse Association Box Provincials at the Kin Centre.
On Friday, PG’s U-15 team had a dominant 7-1 victory over Coquitlam.
PG’s U-17 team also won their Friday match against Peninsula with a score of 7-5.
The tournament will conclude with gold medal games Sunday at noon and 2:00 p.m.

MLB:
PG’s Jared Young and the New York Mets fell to the Boston Red Sox 6-2 yesterday (Friday), going 2-4 at bat with three total bases.
The 30-year-old Young is batting .243 this season going 34-140 with 16 runs in 50 games this season.
The (40-55) Mets host the (44-48) Boston Red Sox this afternoon (Saturday) at 1:10.
