A youth was arrested by the Prince George RCMP in relation to multiple break-and-enter investigations at the same location.
Police say the investigations began on October 6th, when a pub on the 200-block of Cherry Avenue reported the alarm was triggered at 2:30 a.m., with the doors found broken open, and that the suspects had entered the building.
The second break-in attempt occurred two nights later, on October 8th.
At 1:00 a.m. on October 15th, patrol officers in the neighbourhood observed the exterior lights activate at the location, finding three youth behind the pub, though two would flea the area, while one remained behind.
After reviewing footage from previous investigations, officers determined the youth was likely involved in the incidents, and was placed under arrest and taken to the Prince George RCMP detachment, later being released to his guardian, with a future court date.
Anyone who knows the identity of the other youth who fled or has information relating to these investigations are asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
