You can now give the thumbs up to the City of Prince George.
The city has now launched a new Facebook page where you can get updates on the city’s activities, council meetings, and contests.
Communications Manager Todd Corrigal says the city did have an account in the past, but it wasn’t well taken care of.
“We wanted to make sure that we had a strategy and a team in place that could be monitoring and posting to the page on a regular basis and making sure that we’re answering questions from the community,” he says.
Corrigal says the city wants this to be a tool for engaging with the public.
He says any lewd or derogatory comments will be deleted from the page.
