PG Red looking to spike for gold at Provincials

The Prince George Kodiaks Red U-15 girls are the top ranked team in their division at the Provincial Club Volleyball Championships this weekend in Abbotsford.

They are one of seven Red and Black teams (four girls, three boys) representing the Prince George Youth Volleyball Club (PGYVC) in the 15 and 16-year-old age groups Friday to Sunday.

The U-15 Red girls have had a super season to date.

They finished first in four U-15 tournaments, including two Super Series events in Langley and Kelowna.

In addition, the PG Red girls also came fifth in the 24-team, 16-year-old, Battle of the Border tournament in Kamloops at Easter.

Their overall match record is 46-and-15 (105-and-42 in games) against all ages.

Nationals are set for May 17th to 20th in Edmonton.
