Ovechkin scored twice and Kuznetsov added a goal and three assists to give that line eight points in the Stanley Cup Final rematch.

The 1-2 Vancouver Canucks visit the 1-0 Tampa Bay Lightning tonight (4:30 PT).
The Canucks are 0-2 on a six-game road trip.

The 7-3-0-1 Prince George Spruce Kings host the 6-4 Powell River Kings tonight in a rematch of last season’s Coastal Conference final.
P.G. is 5-1 at the RMCA while Powell River is 1-1 on the road.
The Spruce Kings also entertain the 5-4-1 Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Saturday.
Prince George is third in the BCHL Mainland Division, a point behind Coquitlam and three back of Chilliwack.

The Prince George Cougars try to snap a three-game losing skid when they play three road games in as many days against Central Division opposition.
The 2-4-0-1 Cougars visit the 3-5-0-1 Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday, the 3-3-0-1 Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday and the 3-2 Kootenay Ice on Sunday.
Prince George is third in the BC Division of the WHL, a point ahead of Kamloops and three up on Kelowna.
The Rockets slipped to a 1-8 after a 9-6 home ice loss against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday.
Cougars forward Josh Maser begins serving his four-game suspension for slew-footing Giants forward Justin Sourdif in the Cats 3-2 (Saturday) loss to Vancouver.

The Cariboo Cougars have the bye this weekend in the BCMML.
The 2-2-2 Major Midget Cougars return to action when they visit the Thompson Blazers in Kamloops October 20th (12:15 p.m.) and 21st (11:00AM).

The UNBC Timberwolves have their final home games of the season in Canada West men’s soccer this weekend.
The 4-3-4 UNBC men host the (2-6-4) UBC Okanagan Heat Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at Masich Place Stadium.
The Timberwolves are holding down the fourth and final playoff spot in the Pacific Division.
The UNBC men will close with a pair of games at Fraser Valley on October 19th and 20th (6:30 p.m.)

The 1-6-3 UNBC Lady Timberwolves play a couple of road games in Alberta this weekend.
The UNBC women meet the 9-1 Dinos Saturday (11:00 a.m. PT) in Calgary and the 1-8-1 Pronghorns Sunday (11:00 a.m.) in Lethbridge.
UNBC Timberwolves midfielder Paige Payne leads the Conference in goals with eight.
Payne is the Canada West women’s second star of the week after scoring a total of three goals in a pair of weekend soccer losses against the MacEwan Griffins; 3-2 and 2-1.
The Lady Timberwolves are last out of eight teams in the Pacific Division.
The top six teams advance to the playoffs.
