A number of outages are occurring across the city.
This afternoon’s thunderstorm has caused a number of downed power lines in Prince George.
The largest being in the Tabor Boulevard and 5th Avenue area where over 2300 people are sitting in the dark.
Also an area along North Nechako Road has 1276 homes without power.

Transmission circuit failure is being blamed on some of these.
Times when these outages will be restored range from five to eight pm
tonight.
