British Columbia is launching a $600,000 pilot project using artificial intelligence and robotics to detect toxic substances in seized drugs and trace their origins.
An estimated 150 people died from unregulated drugs in B.C. in January, a 10 per cent decrease from the same month last year, the B.C. Coroners Service said.
"From discovering what UNBC has to offer, to cheering on the Timberwolves and reconnecting with alumni, there are many ways to be part of the week and to celebrate the connections between campus and community."
UNBC drops to 0-10 on the campaign and will be in Victoria and Vancouver Friday and Saturday to play the Vikes and Thunderbirds. Kickoff each night is at 5pm.
