Lots of uncertainty with resources says BC Conservative Leader

The Leader of the BC Conservative Party made a stop in Prince George over the weekend.
Dan Brooks spoke to the public at a gathering at Arts Space on Saturday night to talk about the future of resources in Northern British Columbia.
He says the BC Conservatives want to make natural resources available under sustainable stewardship.
“I think that there is obviously a great deal of uncertainty on our land base that has been created recently,” says Brooks, “with recent First Nations and Supreme Court decisions regarding First Nations and Aboriginal title, in addition obtaining social licenses has created some hurdles.”
Brooks says there is also unsustainable models in some ministries that have created some uncertainty.
He claims this has lead to mill and mine closures across Northern BC.
