Quesnel RCMP respond to robbery

The RCMP responded to a robbery in West Quesnel Tuesday night.

Police say just before 10 o’clock a first nations man entered a business wearing a dark coloured puffy jacket and dark pants.

He also wore a red and white bandana to cover his mouth and lower face.

Police believe the alleged suspect selected an item from the shelf and approached the cashier to pay for the item.

When the cashier opened the till to provide the man change he threatened the cashier, reached into the cash register and stole some money and left the business on foot.  

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The suspect is between 5’10” and 5’11” in height with brown eyes and a deep voice.
