The Prince George RCMP stumbled across a rather unique item following a stolen vehicle investigation last week (March 2nd).
Officers recovered a 24-karat gold-plated rose during its search.
Cst. Jennifer Cooper told MyPGNow.com this is not among your typical items you would come across during an investigation.
“It’s typical to find clothing items that might not belong to the person that we are dealing with or electronics are very common to find on the not rightful owner but it’s not common you come across a 24-karat gold-plated rose.”
“The rose is about 12 to 14 inches long, it’s quite beautiful actually and we are looking to find whoever is missing it.”
Cooper adds if the item does belong to you, please bring proof of ownership down to the detachment on the corner of 4th Avenue and Victoria Street.
