The Kelowna Rockets are home and enjoying a 2-0 lead over the Brandon Wheat Kings in the best of 7 WHL Final. The Rockets won the first two games in Brandon: 4-3 (Friday) and 5-3 (empty net goal Saturday). Games 3, 4 and, if necessary, 5 are in Kelowna tonight (Monday), Wednesday and Friday.

–The BC and Western Canadian champion Penticton Vees are 1-1 at the Royal Bank Cup Junior “A” Hockey Championship in Portage-la-Prairie, Manitoba. The Vees lost 3-2 to the Portage Terriers (Saturday) before coming
back with a 4-0 victory (Sunday) over the Melfort Mustangs. Penticton continues round robin play in the five team tournament Tuesday (noon Pacific) against the 2-0 Carleton Place Canadians and Thursday (noon) vs. the Soo Thunderbirds.

–One game this evening (Monday) in Prince George Senior Lacrosse as the 3-1 BX Pub Bandits battle the 0-4 Cowboy Ranch Stylers. The Westwood Pub Devils lead the league with a 4-0 record. Quesnel is 2-2 and Northland/Nissan Assault sit 1-3.
