PG Football:

The Prince George Kodiaks junior football team will hold a Black and Gold Scrimmage tonight (Wed) at 6:00 at Masich Place Stadium.

The Kodiaks open their 10-game BCFC regular season schedule on Saturday, July 29th when they host the defending Canadian Bowl champions, the Okanagan Sun.

Major League Baseball:

First baseman Jared Young of Prince George went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter in the Chicago Cubs 17-3 Tuesday night victory over the Washington Nationals.

The 28-year-old Young is batting .171 (6-for-35) in 13 games in a Chicago uniform with one homer and five RBIs.
