BCHL:

The scene has shifted to Prince George for the Spruce Kings first round playoff series against the Penticton Vees.

Game 3 will be played tonight (Tuesday) at 7:00 with Game 4 on Wednesday.

The Vees won each of the first two games on home ice by identical 3-0 scores.

WHL:

The Prince George Cougars are preparing to host the Kelowna Rockets.

Their best-of-7 Western Conference semifinal begins at CN Centre with the first two games Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.

As of 5:30 Monday night, there were about 600 tickets remaining for the opener and 800 tickets left for Game 2.

The Cougars, who have won 13 in a row, went 6-1-1 in eight regular season meetings against the Rockets.

The series will shift to Kelowna for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, April 16th and 17th.

The other WHL Conference semis start Friday as well with Everett at Portland, Red Deer at Saskatoon and Swift Current at Moose Jaw.

PG Kodiaks football:

The Prince George Kodiaks of the BC Football Conference have announced a broadcasting agreement with Vista Radio.

All 10 games of the Kodiaks regular season will be aired on Country97 FM.

They play their opener at Masich Place Stadium on July 20th against the Vancouver Island Raiders.
