PG product Chase Harrington named WHL Player of the Week

The 2026-2027 hockey season continues to be a good one for Prince George product Chase Harrington.

Harrington was named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week, after recording three goals and four assists in a pair of wins for the Spokane Chiefs.

Harrington started the week with a 7-1 win over the Everett Silvertips Tuesday, where he posted a natural hat trick in the first period, and added two assists.

He followed up that performance by tallying a pair of assists in a 3-2 shootout win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday.

With 15 points (6G, 9A) Harrington is tied for third in the Western Hockey League’s scoring race.

He also signed an NHL entry level contract with the Calgary Flames earlier this year.

The Chiefs (8-1-0-0) are on top of the WHL standings.
