Northern B.C. gamblers shut out during record-breaking Lotto Max jackpot

Someone in Alberta is waking up this morning (Wednesday) as the winner of Canada’s largest ever jackpot win.

The winning ticket during Tuesday’s 90-million-dollar Lotto Max draw matched all seven numbers plus the bonus.

According to the BC Lottery Corporation, the lucky numbers were 8,15,19, 23,26, 28 and 34 with the bonus being 38.

In addition, a ticket bought in Chemainus, just outside of Nanaimo, had six of seven numbers correct plus the bonus and will collect a cool $206,000.

There was one Max Million winner in B.C. located in Agassiz.

Lastly, there were four Max Plus winners from our province – the winning tickets were purchased in Westbank, Surrey, Chilliwack and Pitt Meadows.

Friday’s Lotto Max Jackpot resets at 26-million dollars.
