Prince George Hospice draws winner in first 50/50

The Prince George Hospice and Palliative Care Society announced Kyle Bach as the winner of its first 50/50 draw.

The draw took place yesterday (Friday), with the winner taking home $223,375.

Hospice President Rod Holmes said the money raised will go towards their grief counselling service.

“These fundraisers are very important to us, because we rely on the public for buying tickets and buying tickets on our house draw, and all of our fundraising activities.”

Members of the Hospice got a hold of Bach on the phone following the draw, who thought it had already ended, saying he was “dumbfounded” at being named the winner.

The 2026 Dream Home Lottery is scheduled to be drawn Friday, February 26th, 2027.
