Former Prince George Cougars defenceman Josh Anderson has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche.
The 19-year-old spent three-and-a-half seasons with the Cougars before he was traded to the Swift Current Broncos on January 7th in return for a pair of first round picks in the Bantam Draft; one this year and another in 2019.
The six-foot-two, 225-pound Nanaimo native has 35 points (9G, 26A) and 289 penalty minutes in 206 career WHL games.
Anderson was selected by the Avalanche in the third round, 71st overall of the 2016 NHL Draft.
