The (14-26-3-4) Cougars are 10 points behind the (20-22-3-2) Seattle Thunderbirds for the final Western Conference wild-card playoff spot.
Both teams have 21 games remaining, including four against each other.
Prince George will host Seattle on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The (17-28-2-3) Spruce Kings are last in the Mainland Division, 5 points behind the
(20-24-2-1-1) Langley Rivermen.
In the overall BCHL standings, P.G. is 15th out of 17 and in a playoff spot with 39 points followed by West Kelowna with 36 and the Merritt Centennials with 24.
With 16 of the 17 teams to qualify for the postseason, it appears that Merritt will be the odd team out.

This is the final day of the B.C. men’s and women’s curling championships in Cranbrook.
The women’s championship game this morning had Corryn Brown of Kamloops over defending BC Scotties champion Sarah Wark of Abbotsford 8-7 in an extra end.
Brown scored two in the 10th and stole the winning point in the extra end.
The Wark team includes third Kristen Pilote, second Carley Sandwith, lead Jen Rusnell and coach Rick Fewster.
Fewster is from Prince George and his daughters, Pilote and Rusnell are originally from PG.
In men’s play, defending champion Jim Cotter from Vernon and Kelowna will play Tyler Tardi of Langley/Victoria in the final this afternoon at 1:00 (PT).
