NHL: (North Division) 

The (8-14-2) Vancouver Canucks visit the (12-6-1) Winnipeg Jets on Monday and Tuesday night at 5:00.

The Jets are home against Montreal tonight (Saturday). Other games today involving Canadian teams: Edmonton at Toronto and Calgary at Ottawa.

Curling: (National Scotties)

Ontario (Rachel Homan) and Canada (Kerri Einarson) are the co-leaders at 9-1 at the National Scotties in Calgary.

Alberta (Laura Walker) and Manitoba (Jennifer Jones) are next at 7-3 with one draw left before the playoffs.

Saskatchewan (Sherry Anderson), Quebec (Laurie St-Georges)and Wild Card 3 (Beth Peterson) all have a slim chance at 6-4 while Wild Card 1 (Tracy Fleury) is out of the running at 5-5.

BC (Corryn Brown) finished 4-4 and failed to qualify for the championship pool of eight
