The Prince George RCMP arrested a man following a report of an assault in the Hart.
Just after 9 am yesterday (Monday), officers received a call about an assault on the 2500 block of Grant Road.
Police attended the location and, with assistance from the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services, located the suspect without incident.
Police were on Grant Road for a lengthy period of time as we wanted to ensure this situation came to a safe resolution for the suspect and for our members,
said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations officer for the Prince George RCMP.
After arresting the suspect he was held into custody where he appeared in court this morning (Tuesday).
This investigation is ongoing.
