Theatre NorthWest holding second Pride stage reading of season tomorrow

The next installment of Theatre NorthWest’s Pride series is right around the corner.

A small cast and crew will perform Bed and Breakfast, a story of a gay Toronto couple moving to small-town Ontario and running a B&B.

“The interesting about this play is it is written for the two main male characters to play all of the characters in the play,” Allison Haley, the stage reading’s director, told My PG Now. “For the purposes of a reading, we thought that would be a little confusing.”

The show will have 7 actors instead.

“I think it is really important subject matter,” Colin Browne, one of the show’s leads, said. “It is also really important and cool that we have two gay men playing two gay characters. It is important to have that sort of representation.”

The show starts at 7:00 tomorrow night (Wednesday), tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
