A construction project will shut down the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Burden Street.
Construction is set to start on April 29th and run until May 10th.
During that time, traffic will be redirected down Carney Street for eastbound travellers, and down Alward Street for westbound traffic.
According to the City, the work is being done to replace a valve on the 500mm transmission water main, repairing the sanitary sewer main, and remove the concrete valve chamber located in the intersection.
The budget for the work is $400,000, and is funded through the Water Distribution System Renewal budget.
