Power Play aids the Spruce Kings to victory

The Prince George Spruce Kings scored three power play goals, one late in the 1st and the other two in the second period to defeat the Coquitlam Express 3-2 before 947 fans. Liam McCloskey made 27 saves as Prince George outshot Coquitlam 37-29. It was the first win this season for the Spruce Kings at the PG Coliseum. They had lost their first four in front of the hometown crowd. Same teams meet again tonight (Sat) in Prince George.
