Prince George’s Veterans Plaza was the place to be, as community members took in the summer sun and activities for Downtown Summerfest.
As the event began, families were quick to check out the different vendors and food trucks on hand, and lining up for the free face painting station.
The bike valet was also at Summerfest, allowing community members to have their bikes, wagons, strollers, scooters stored during the event.
Downtown Summerfest, hosted by Downtown Prince George, will be continuing until 4:00 p.m.
