An approval from Council on Monday night will now see the Prince George Hospice Society with an increase to its zoning borders.
Donalda Carson is the Hospice Executive Director and explained how their neighbours offered up the land, and gave them some serious considerations:
“When we had that offer, we considered it and we thought that it might make sense to have the property in case at some point in time in the future we’re ever asked by Northern Health to expand”
The re-zoning would add 1.25 acres of property to the Society, but there are no plans for any development at this time.
