Northern residents support CBA: Survey

A majority of Northern BC residents support the provinces Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) even if they aren’t familiar with it.

A survey conducted by Research Co shows 53 per cent of the public moderately supports CBA, while 51 per cent say they aren’t familiar with the new policy.

Back in July, the province announced a new framework on infrastructure projects to deliver good-paying jobs, apprenticeship training, and more trade opportunities for indigenous people, women and youth.

The first projects were around the new Pattullo Bridge and the four-lane projects on the Trans-Canada Highway between Kamloops and Alberta.
