The BC Lions have recognized the two-way efforts of PGSS Polars quarterback/linebacker Braden Reed.

The Grade 12 student is the Lions BC High School Player of the week.

Reed rushed for over 200 yards on offence, and had nine tackles and a forced fumble on defence, to lead the Polars to a convincing 49-8 triumph over the Kelly Roadrunners in the PG Bowl.

The Polars host the Samuel Robertson Technical Titans of Maple Ridge Saturday night at 5 in the opening round of provincial BCSSFA ‘AA’ Varsity playoffs at Masich Place Stadium.
