Residents of Prince George are out helping to make the city a little cleaner.
Until 4 p.m. today the City of Prince George and the Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society are putting on their annual spring cleanup.
Over 2000 bags were distributed to groups throughout the city, but it’s not too late to get involved.
Anyone wanting to volunteer can go to the of the following locations:
. Foothills Blvd north of 1st Ave
. Westwood drive along the golf course (Pine Centre Mall to Range Rd)
. Highway 16 from Mr. PG to Superstore
. Peden Hill (Vance Rd to Domano)
. Range Rd
. Ospika (Massey to 5th Ave)
. 15th & 20th Avenue
. Around the base of Connaught Hill
. Queensway
Free temporary garbage bins are set up around the city for one day only. However, they will not accept any large household items or hazardous materials.
