Reduction in PG transit service coming on March 29th

BC Transit and the City of Prince George have announced that bus service will be reduced to a summer level starting on March 29th.

This means that there will be a reduction in service to secondary and post-secondary institutions, resulting in trips with ‘X’ and ‘U’ notes next to them being removed from service.

Key changes include:

  • Discontinuing service on the 12 Parkridge, 17 UNBC, 18 Spruceland, 96 Kelly, and 97 Kelly
  • Reducing frequency and removing late night trips on the 15 UNBC/Downtown
  • Reducing frequency on the 55 Victoria

BC Transit stated in an official statement that more changes may occur as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop.
