Northern Health Spokesperson, Eryn Collins announced a NH Connections highway coach carrying one passenger was involved in a single-vehicle incident about 15 kilometres north of Quesnel.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:45 pm today (Jan 5th) on Highway 97, it is currently under investigation.
Neither of the occupants of the bus received life-threatening injuries but the driver is currently receiving care at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel.
According to Collins, the incident appears to be weather-related.
The NH Connections bus was on a regular short-haul route between Prince George and Quesnel at the time.
Arrangements are being made to safely recover the disabled coach tomorrow (Jan 6th).
No service disruptions are expected as a result of the incident, with the next scheduled Prince George-Quesnel route set for Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
