Prince George Fire Rescue (PGFR) and City operations crews are responding to damage caused by yesterday’s (Friday) high winds.
The city said trees and power lines were brought down across P.G., creating hazardous conditions, with PGFR working with BC Hydro to assess the damage.
Parks crews have been working since 9 p.m. yesterday to clear fallen trees and respond to service calls, and are prioritizing access for residents and emergency vehicles.
Cleanup continues, and residents are asked to give crews space to work.
It added residents are urged to use caution, as windstorm-related hazards will take time to address.
