The Cariboo Cougars picked up their 13th win in 14 games this morning (Sun) dumping the Kootenay Ice 8-2.
Cariboo jumped out to a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes courtesy of Chris Jandric, Devin Sutton and Trey Thomas.
In the second, Ty Kolle extended the advantage early in the middle frame.
Hunter Floris and Bradley Ross cut into the led to 4-2.
Before the end of the frame, Mason Ritchey helped the Cougars re-gain the three goal lead 5-2.
Sutton and Thomas would pot their second goal of the game followed by a Tyler Maser shorthanded marker to round out the third.
Jandric led the Cougars with 4 points while Jonas Harkins, Reid Perepeluk, Mason Ritchey, Trey Thomas, Devin Sutton and Logan Thomas each had 2 point games.
Cariboo dumped Kootenay 8-1 on Saturday and will head to Abbotsford next weekend when they face the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
