The pedestrian struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning has died in hospital.
The incident happened near a crosswalk at 5th Avenue and Voyageur Drive around 8 AM. The 24-year-old man was in “critical condition” when emergency crews rushed him to the hospital, where he later passed away.
RCMP are not releasing the man’s name at this time.
Police say that alcohol was not a factor and the driver is cooperating with the investigation. At this point, no charges have been laid.

The Prince George RCMP, with the assistance of North District RCMP, will continue the investigation.
