Speed skater Keanan St. Rose had five races and won them all to lead Prince George athletes with five gold medals at the 29th BC Winter Games in Kamloops.
The 16-year-old member of the PG Blizzard speed skating club came first in a pair of 500m races plus he also took top spot in the 1000, 1500 and 3000.
Cariboo-North East athletes picked up 26 medals (seven gold, seven silver and 12 bronze) to place sixth out of eight regions.
North West was last with eight medals (five gold, one silver and two bronze).
Vancouver-Coastal led in gold with 43 and in overall medals with 128.
More than 1,200 athletes, aged nine to 17, competed in 19 different sports.
