Spruce Kings add sniper from the RBC champs

The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired 20-year-old forward Brett Mennear from the West Kelowna Warriors.

The 5’9″ 185 pound Mennear is the future considerations portion of the January 7th trade between the two teams that sent Jake LeBrun and Bryan Basilico to the Warriors for Tanner Campbell.

Mennear notched 42 points (18 goals) in 52 regular season games and added 21 points (7 goals) in 35 playoff games for the RBC national champions.

He is committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at Bentley University starting in the 2017-2018 season.

Mennear will join the Spruce Kings at their Training Camp that starts August 25th.
