The Sutherland Road fire near Vanderhoof received more good news.
The public will now have more access to travel around the area.
“So effective immediately due to reduced fire activity and the recent progress from BC Wildfire crews, the order to restrict access since July 12 has been rescinded in the area of the Sutherland Road fire,” says Amanda Reynolds, Prince George fire information officer.
That includes the Sutherland Forest Service Road along with the Barlow Forest Service Road and Barlow-Rat Forest Service Road.
The fire is now under control and no further spread of the fire is expected.
