P.G. Symphony Orchestra hosting auditions for holiday musical

Judy Russell and the Prince George Symphony Orchestra (PGSO) will be presenting Elf – The Musical leading up to Christmas, based on the 2003 film.

Starting Saturday, auditions will be held for roughly 30 roles for anyone ages eight and older, concluding on Saturday, September 12th, with callbacks on September 19th.

PGSO said potential cast members will need to be prepared to:

  • Sing – a show tune of choice. A pianist is available, or auditioners can bring their own backup track
  • Move – bring tap shoes if you know how to tap
  • Read – audition material will be provided

Rehearsals will begin in the last week of September, with audition sign up here.

The show will be running for five performances over three days starting Friday, December 18th, at the Vanier Hall, with tickets available October 1st.
