One of the most anticipated events to kick off the holiday season in Prince George is right around the corner.
The Annual Civic Light Up is set for Friday, November 27th
For the first time ever this year’s event will feature a synchronized aerial drone show put on by Drone Light Show Canada.
The festivities take place in Canada Games Plaza and begin at 4 p.m., followed by the official Light Up ceremony at 6 p.m.
In addition, family friendly activities including visits with Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, free skating, face painting, holiday markets, live entertainment will be available.
“Civic Light Up is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together and celebrate the spirit of the season,” said Mayor Garth Frizzell.
“We are grateful to the many community partners whose support helps make this cherished event possible year after year.”
