The Canada Winter Games is in their final push to attract volunteers.
Today is the final day you can sign up in person to volunteer, although the games will be accepting people online until all positions are filled.
Games communications officer Alison Gourlay Cramer says there are many different roles they need filled;
“There really is something for everyone… security, IT, communications, media services, the mascot program or athlete services. It’s really the best opportunity for people to get involved in the largest multi sport event that this region will probably ever see.”
She added that they are getting close to hitting their target of 4500 volunteers and are over the standard for bilingual volunteers.
The 2015 Canada Winter Games are 45 days away.
