Kamloops Blazers  5  Prince George Cougars  0
(Dylan Garand with the shutout as Kamloops outshot PG 40-16, including 20-2 in the third period. The (7-1) Blazers have outscored the Cougars 11-1 in their last two meetings. The (3-3-1-1) Cougars play Victoria Friday in Kelowna and they also meet Kelowna Saturday in Kamloops)

The Prince George Spruce Kings play the Chiefs again tonight at 5:00 in Chilliwack. The Spruce Kings are 4-2 while the Chiefs sit 4-3 after Chilliwack lost 5-4 to Merritt on Wednesday.

Carlos Rodón of the Chicago White Sox tossed a no-hitter in an 8-0 victory over Cleveland. The lefty was perfect through the first 25 batters before hitting a batter with a pitch in the 9th.
